Govt. Inter College for BoysThe establishment of Inter College was granted in 1974 and first year it starts functions in the hostel of Govt. Pilot Secondary School. After 8 years, building of college was established in New Behni outside Sharaqpur. New building covered area is 50 canals and college is shifted in this building in 1982. Academic block is consist of Laboratories of Physics, Biology and Computer, two lecture theaters, five class rooms, library and offices. College library has 5000 books. Administration of college trying their best to make progress day and night. |

Govt. Commercial Training InstituteIn Sharaqpur, Govt. College of Commerce or Govt. Commercial Training Institute was established in 1986. In the begging, It starts his work in a hired building and this institute could not arranged its own building even 16 years later too. C-Com. is completed in first year and D-Com. in second year which is equal to F.A. In college, management pay full attention on the curricular activates and held different programs and educational tours. Now a days, computer education is included in syllabus to meet the challenges of modern age. The moral of college has been increasing gradually and its credit goes to teaching faculty and principal. |

Govt. Pilot Secondary School for BoysG. P. S. S. is founded about one hundred and fifty years ago in 1861.School is situated on main Lahore Jaranwala road near bus stand. In 1980, its permanent building was constructed. In the earlier it was a primary school and it became middle school in 1904 and high in 1926. Then a new building was constructed for school which covered 3300sf and total area is 16 acre and the school was shifted in new building. In April 1963, it is upgraded to Pilot Secondary School and it became popular all over the Punjab. The school is full of fruit trees, beautiful plots and playing grounds which increase the attraction of school. In these day, Science and arts subject are taught in the school. Owing to high standard of education it always show 80 and 90 percent result. |

Govt. Girls Higher Secondary SchoolGovt. Girls Higher Secondary School is a unique in its
name, work and famous in its reputation. Different names were given
to it in different ages and were changed according to the nature of its
work. The School was established in 1938 as a primary school and
upgrade it as middle school in 1947. It became high school in
1960. There were started C.T. classes in 1977. But in 1978 C.T.,
P.T.C. and S.V. were separated from High school and joint it with
Elementary college. After some time High school was granted into a
Higher Secondary School and F.A. classes were started. At that time round
about 2700 students are studying here and their strength is increasing day
by day. There are 5000 books in library for students.
Curricular activities like games, program of Bazm-e-Adab, Educational
Tours and manual work are paying fully attention. School is champion
of football from the last 3 years of the secondary board. |
